While employed by a Fortune 50 global manufacturer, David was responsible for all North American energy contracts and produced over $80 million in spend reductions or cost avoidances while also supporting international projects. His ability to build, lead, and sustain collaborative work teams among peers enabled him to deliver various energy projects internally while also leading industry-wide efforts as President or thought-leader in several state and federal industrial groups.

In addition to supply chain gains, David secured or created economic development incentives for growth projects,
as well as business retention initiatives. He successfully led legislative efforts to ensure federal and state policies and laws, supported energy-intensive manufacturing, and managed the litigation of several rate cases and other causes to ensure that FERC and various state commissions faithfully enforced those policies and laws. David honed particular expertise in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Michigan, Virginia and most significantly in Iowa, where

he was appointed to a stakeholder group to develop a new Iowa State Energy Plan.
